Global leading experts on apparel technology, innovation and automation will share experience with Bangladeshi apparel manufacturers about latest trend at Bangladesh Fashionology Summit to be held in Dhaka.
The day long fashion tech summit on apparel industry will be held on February 12 at International Convention Center, Bashundhara in Dhaka.
Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), the organiser of the event is also going to arrange the first ever Digital Tech Fashion Show during the event.
Some of the most creative and innovative fashion design with digital and tech twists will be displayed in the fashion show.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed is likely to attend as the chief guest of the closing summit while ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Prime Minister’s Office Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman are likely be the special guests.
Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Md Siddiqur Rahman, CEBAI President Md Atiqul Islam, Netherlands Ambassador to Bangladesh Leoni Cuelenaere and Microsoft Bangladesh, Managing Director Sonia Bashir Kabir are also scheduled to attend the programme as guests of the event.
The summit is aimed at presenting the latest technology used in the clothing industry to make Bangladeshi Manufacturers familiar with it and to encourage them to go on use of it.
A total of 16 renowned speakers from 10 countries will participate the first ever fashion and tech summit to discuss about latest apparel products, technology and innovation that will shape the future of the industry.
In four seminars– Factory of the Future, Virtual Reality and Digitalization of Supply Chain, Fashion Tech and Sustainable Innovation and Mass Customization and on Demand Manufacturing, speakers will share their experience and knowledge to inform Bangladesh manufacturers.
