The first ever fashion and tech event in the country titled ‘Bangladesh Fashionology Summit’ ended at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
A total of 16 speakers from across the world, including the US, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Japan and India discussed on the latest apparel products, technology and innovation at the summit with a view to shaping the future of the industry.
About 450 decisions making professional from the key industry stakeholders like manufacturers, buyers, trade bodies, development partners etc participated in the Summit.
Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) Mostafiz Uddin said, “By organizing the Bangladesh Fashiono-logy Summit we endeavored to bridge the gap between the present and future of Bangladesh apparel and textile industry through technology, innovation and knowledge sharing.”
“We tried to bring under one roof the most inspiring and innovative thinkers as well as exhibitors from across the globe to initiate the much-needed conversations around technology, digitalization and innovation in the apparel and fashion industry,” he added.
Managing Director of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) Mohiuddin Rubel said: “The very objective of the BAE is to promote the apparel industry of Bangladesh. As the automation and innovation are the next major areas where the industry need to focus on the Bangladesh Fashio-nology Summit has been organized to inspire in the industry.”
